Couldn't 'phone within her earshot, but this morning she did a wee and came out saying there was blood on the loo paper.

FGS, she's 8 and a half. Showing some signs of puberty - downy hairs, oily skin/hair - but 8 and a half - is that possible

As an alternative could it be a UTI? I think you need to know how much blood?

earlgrey · 11/02/2007 22:31

God, she's past that stage of letting us know. I did ask.

I'm sorry I don't properly understand what you meant by your last post [thick emoticon].

Has it continued through the day? Is her underwear stained.

If it is earlu puberty I would speak to GP. There may be chance that they can delay things for a while with hormone treatment (she says with no knowledge at all)

fireflyfairy2 · 11/02/2007 22:37

Have you asked her since, if she is still bleeding?

Why jump to the conclusion of early puberty instead of a UTI? Or have there been other signs?

Hopefully it's nothing

ff, I asked her midday and she wouldn;t let me look.

SMS, I don't know. She just won't let me look
