strange sensation in my left arm

I had carpal tunnel in both hands in the past and had them both operated on so I know its not that, But I have this really strange sensation in my left arm and hand. Its like when you have your blood pressure done and they pump the arm cuff up to much and your hand goes a little numb, well thats the best way i can describe this feeling. I have to keep walking round shaking my arm just to ensure that it doesnt go numb (not sure if it will or not) and it feels quite heavy and cold too. Its really strange.

Any ideas what it could be????

TIA

Could it be a problem with your neck, affecting the nerves that go down your arm? Best to get it checked out with the dr.

I posted on this yesterday but my post has disappeared!

I sometimes get this, when my shoulder and neck muscles are too tight and spasm. I think it traps a nerve.

I sort it out with a visit to an osteopath, who does a deep tissue massage and any joint releasing that needs to be done.

I also found that as an interim, having a hot bath seems to help - certainly with the cold arm.
