I'm really sorry in advance if this is too much information but I don't know if this is normal after having two children or if I should see a doctor?
The wall between my vagina and bowels seems to be very thin or weak. If I put a finger inside my vagina I can actually feel the poo in my bowels especially if I'm a bit constipated.
I can no longer push out a poo unless it's really soft. If it's at all solid, when I push on the toilet it sort of bulges out of my vagina instead of just coming out of my bum. I regularly have to put a finger in my vagina and push against my bowels to get anything out.
I can also no longer hold in gas. At all. It's quite embarrassing.
I have a 5 month old baby and this seems to have gotten progressively worse since I gave birth this time around. My pelvic floor has never been great but it's no worse now than before giving birth and I can stop a wee mid stream. I do pelvic exercises when I remember but probably not as much as I should. DS was a big baby almost 11lb but normal birth with no stitches just a "graze" as MW called it so it's not like I tore back to front causing these problems.
Has anybody else experienced this? How did you resolve the issue if at all?
Once again I'm sorry if this is TMI
