My MIL has a sore eye - the eyelid is swollen, and the white of her eye is all red and bloodshot. She feels like she's got something in her eye and it's gunky & really sore. She's been to the GP, and been prescribed some cream with an antibiotic in it. Does this mean that it's contagious do you think? We were going to stay there tomorrow night, on our way up to Blackpool for a week. Don't really want to stop there if the DS's will both end up with an eye infection for a week whilst we're away from our GP. All opinions gratefully received
