I don't know what I'm expecting from this- possibly just some handholding but I'm concerned I might have a dental abscess. Tooth has been sore for the last 5/6 days and I was taking paracetamol. Then Monday it was worse so I started rinsing with corsodil (sp?!) and put some clove oil on the gum. Gum now v sore and tooth intermittently sore. Think I can see white stuff where tooth meets gum and it's bleeding a lot when I brush it. I've had an abscess before and it was the worst pain I've ever been in (much worse than this) and I'm SO scared of it developing into something like that. Seeing the dentist tomorrow afternoon and worried she'll tell me I need a whole host of things doing- I really really hate dental work. I also have health anxiety (in treatment for it) so the idea of having any kind of infection is super stressful for me...
Any advice/ reassurance?
