I had it 6 days ago and was expecting to see a line of stitches when I removed the big dressing. Instead I've got 4 steristrips and 2 small holes about an inch apart - with about 6 inches of suture just flapping about 
. They were supposed to ring me after 48 hours but it never happened so I've just stuck the suture under the dressing to stop any (possibly cat related) mishaps.
Has anyone else had the same thing?
