maybe do some exercise?

From what I recall during pg (when I have had some sugar issues), too much sugar makes you feel sick and thirsty. What you're describing sounds more like a sugar low.

Eat an apple and some plain oatcakes, have a drink of water and a rest.

Hope you feel better soon.

Drink some water (it works for me I have low blood sugar too) but don't gulp it down...that makes me light headed

misdee · 08/02/2007 12:27

so is it possible i've had a high then a sudden drop?

Sounds like it.

Make some biscuits with splenda and put them away for when you next have a craving.

PrettyCandles · 08/02/2007 12:29

Exactly.

That's why the apple - a smasll quick burst - and the oatcakes - a slower load to maintain the levelk of sugar.

Plain nuts are a good low-sugar snack. Though high fat - you can't win!

no oatcakes. got an apple, will make small bowl of porraige in a mo.
