I paid privately to have my then 2 year old get the men B vaccination with Boots. He was supposed to get second dose last week, two months after the first, but they messed up and hadn't registered the appointment. It's now scheduled for next week, but he's also due his flu vaccination the week after. I didn't bother with flu vaccination last year, but he's been diagnosed with asthma in the last year and so I feel more inclined to get it this year.
Does anyone know anything about getting these two vaccines a week apart - is it safe to do so? I'd put the men B vaccine off but can't find any info on what maximum interval between doses should be - only that the minimum is two months!
Any advice greatly appreciated!
