Car insurance after operation

Quick question, MIL recently found out she has a very treatable form of breast cancer. A week last Saturday she had the lump removed under General anesthetic, as a day surgery case. She was told not to drive for two weeks but this week has felt fine to do so. However, does anyone know if her car insurance would be valid? She's with Volvo.
Before I get jumped on she knows herself well and would never take risks.

She needs to just ring them and check.

Would it not cause problems if they thought she was driving? Thank you for your quick reply

You need to be able to perform an emergency stop, that's why they should be informed. As its a breast op, I can't see why she wouldn't be able to, but best err on the side of caution and inform them. If something were to happen, then they might get funny about paying out.
