Hi, I've been offered a choice of either the Princess Royal University (formerly Farnborough Hospital) or Queen Elizabeth in Woolwich. I know the latter but have never heard of the Princess Royal, any opinions would be gratefully received, thanks.

I have never had first hand experioence of either, but I visited a friend in the Princess Royal Hosp after the birht of her ds and I was v impressed. She was too. I have not heard any negative stories abour the QE Hosp, but I have a gut instict that if I had to choose I would go for the Princess Royal.

NB both are fairly new ish hospitals, built within last 4- 8 years I think.

Hi losty, thanks for that, I suppose I am looking for positive feedback on the PRU Hospital as am not so keen on the QE tbh, so that's good news.

Thanks for that Margo, they were good to read as I know nothing about the place and I'm glad that your overall experiences of the place were good for you. Although I won't be going there to have a baby but for some general surgery, it helps to paint a picture of the hospital as a whole.
