Do I need the morning after pill?

I had sex Saturday night then had severe diahorrea at about 4am. I had taken my pill (femulen) at about 11.30pm Saturday night.

I am breastfeeding but started weaning baby a month ago, she is on three meals a day so the breastfeeding has reduced.

She is 7 months old so another (4th!) wouldn't be the best of timing for us. Should I take the morning after pill?

I think you should be OK, as it was over 3 hours after you had taken the pill, so your body would have had time to absorb it. But check with NHS Direct/GP/Pharmacist anyway.

You can't be too careful - have a chat with your pharmacist and they can advise - you only have 72hrs to take it tho x x

Thanks ladies - pharmacist wouldn't sell it to me - said I had to go to GP as I am still breast feeding.

She prescribed it, safe (as it can be) to take + saved £25 (but suppose thats cheap compared to another baby!).
