DH had an MRI last Tuesday as a check up on a procedure to have stents inserted in February, GP has just phoned to say that something has been seen in his liver and he needs to go in for a CT scan. Having worked in NHS healthcare as an admin, to move this quickly smacks of them being concerned. I don't want to tell my Mum as Dad died in December and we are all still felling the aftershocks from that.
Apart from the obvious any other suggestions what it might be, cirrhosis has been ruled out.
