My partner realised yesterday he had been bitten and it was really red and about the size of a 10p. Now his leg is starting to bruise yellow he's noticed just now.

Any idea what kind of bite this is?

I'd get that looked at by the pharmacist and see what they suggest

I told him that he will have to catch it after work. Closest I could see online was a spider bite but can't diagnosis over the Internet and the pictures were grim. Just wondered if anyone had seen a bite similar before. Thank you

it could be a tick bite. Have a look on google images.

I thought that looked similar as well. He has gone to get it looked at now so it must be bothering him. He wouldn't go unless it was. Thanks

Spider bite cream and something else to use and keep an eye on it.

Looks like a spider bite to me too I got one year before last and needed anti biotics, it was awful and SO painful it took 6 weeks to clear.

Oh no really? I think he has a cream and something else to pick up. I'm worried it's in the house as he felt one walk on him the other week and threw it on the floor! He sold it felt huge. Why throw it on the floor though? Hopefully it will clear quick at the minute he says it's more like having a dead leg.
