Help! Just accidentally took the wrong antidepressant

I can't believe what I've just done - I'm on 20mg citalopram daily. My daughter is on 20mg fluoxetine - I give her the daily tablet - I've just made a glass of water to take to bed and got DDs tablet out to give her and I've took the tablet and drank it down ??????!!!!!!! Mustn't have been thinking and just auto pilot took it !

I took my usual tablet this morning

should I expect any effects ?

No you won't notice a thing. Honestly, it's fine, no big deal.

They are both the same class of antidepressants serotonin re uptakers so you are probably OK, I however would ring 111 just to make sure

I'm not concerned about ringing 111 I'm just panicking that I'll feel unwell - I start a new job tomorrow !

When I started taking fluoxetine it took a few days for any side effects so I think you will be fine tomorrow.
