Flu vaccine and 38w pg

I am almost 38w pg and due to have my baby by ELCS in 10 days time.

I have been routinely invited by the GP clinic to have the seasonal flu jab as I am asthmatic. They are doing a mass clinic 2 weeks after my baby will have been born.

I have an appointment booked, but I'm wondering if I should request to have the vaccine before the baby is born - will it have any benefit? Even if I had it today, that would leave only 10 days to make antibodies.

It's worth mentioning that I am currently on antibiotics for a water infection - would that have any effect on the vaccine?

TIA
