I have a large lump on or in my hip joint it's been there for a while and It's got quite a lot bigger recently. It's not painful in itself but I get a lot of hip pain and often limp or can't walk very well on that side.
I saw my gp a few years ago and she dismissed it entirely and said it was a fatty lump!
