So sorry tmi but I have a massive red and sore boil on my bum! It's totally agony! On going on holiday tomorrow and not sure if I need to get it looked at?
Any home treatments for it too? BlushSad

Magnesium sulphate paste BP. Any chemist has it. Get a couple of jars.

It will draw it to a head and dry it out. Get some first aid dressings (eyepatch size may do) which will absorb the moisture.

You really should have seen your GP.

And google it for more. The dressing is to stop it rubbing off, and to absorb the fluid which it will draw from the boil.

Thanks for the advice.
It only came to yesterday (Saturday) by last night it had really come out so no time to get to the doctors or I would have done!
I'll give the cream a try.
