Hey. It is really sore. And the skin is peeling off. The first one is the worst one. It is a bit lumpy.
Thanks if anyone can help

Can you get emergency apts? Hopefully it's nothing but any change to breast should be checked out.

I thought it was just pimples. Since I have had pimples before on my breasts.

How long have they been there?

Could you have been bitten?

Whatever it is, you need to see your doctor
Ring back, explain the issue and see if they will give you an earlier appointment

J1232 · 23/08/2016 07:41

The second one has been there for about 3 days. Gone down in size and not sore any more. The other one has only been there for a day.
The doctor is closed at the moment.

i had something like that- just the one spot about 4 weeks ago
first noticed it when drying myself - it was sore and looked red /bruise like with no head so not a pimple , as i dried the skin came away .
i was admitted to hospital(for something else) last week and they saw it but they didnt seem bothered by it l , its going down now but you can see still scarring where it was.

Do you have walk in clinics you can go to tonight?

orangebobble · 23/08/2016 11:57

A fellow Kiwi here. Very hard to tell from that photo, but could it be a boil? I got one in my armpit once and it was so painful. Have you got an after hours clinic anywhere near you? That's where I ended up at 1am when I couldn't handle the pain anymore.

orangebobble · 23/08/2016 11:59

Even an after hours pharmacy might be good enough.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 23/08/2016 12:09

You've tried hot flannels and savlon / mag sulph? Just looks like a boil/ spot but personally I'd see the GP if it didn't settle down .

validusername · 23/08/2016 21:08

Yeah it looks like a boil to me. Especially if it is sore.

J1232 · 24/08/2016 02:43

It has settled down a bit today. Thanks for the suggestions everybody.
What is a boil? What causes it?

OP posts:
orangebobble · 24/08/2016 10:18

A boil is just an abscess (a localized infection). You can get them anywhere on your body. Can be caused by a blocked sweat gland or ingrown hair or even a foreign body that gets lodged in the skin. I think you're more likely to get them if you're run down. Best at home treatment is heat application. Great that it's settled down today, but if it gets worse again, it might need to be drained (by a doctor!). Good luck!

orangebobble · 24/08/2016 10:21

Also, if it reassures you, mine was very painful for a day or so but then just went away on its own and I've never had another one.
