Advice after a fall

I had a fall last Friday. I landed badly on my knees, mainly my right. Although a bit uncomfortable it's not been too bad. But today it's started to feel hot and is more painful than before. Is this normal?

Leprosy. Deffo.
Great bruises, btw. Well awesome.

Is there a lump under the bruise? It's possible you have a haematoma and it's developing cellulitis. How do you feel in yourself? Can you take your temp? If it's raised or the redness spreads I'd suggest getting checked over.

I've just touched it very carefully and it almost feels a bit numb where it's most red. I don't think I have a temperature but I'll check.

No temperature. Thank you for answering, I'll get it checked out if it doesn't get better overnight.
