What weight are your 4/5/6 year olds?

I was just wondering as we weighed dd today and she is 4stone. She was 5 in December & I am always worrying about her being overweight. She is tall though, taller than her 6yr old cousins. I suppose I am after a general guide as to what weight she should be (If you care about that type of stuff)

Mainly I'm not worried, I know she eats healthily & exercises lots, but seeing as I am prone to gain weight & Dh was overweight as a child I am always paranoid.

my ds is 4,5 in september and he weighs 2stone10lbs.He's about 110cms.If she's tall and hasn't much fat then I wouldn't worry.

DD is 4y9m and will be 5yo in April. Her height is around the 75th centile - not measured her for a little while, but has been around that for ages now. She weighs just under 3 stone, when dressed. She is skinny thing though!

TBh from what you write about her, she seems perfectly fine.

have you checked her centiles. could be puppy fat.

I haven't got her height measured in a while so may do that tomorrow. She was dressed when we weighed her too & had a pair of boots on.

No, she doesn't really have fat on her as such bandstand, she's definitely well made, but doesn't take too big clothes or anything. Age 5/6 in clothes, she is just really tall...... Dh said I'm paranoid

if she is in the appropriate age clothes, i am sure she is fine
