dd2 has a very wheezy sound and chesty cough, do I

take her to gp ?She has had no fever , but has reduced the amount shes taking in feeds ,(normally up to 5oz a bottle now only 2oz). shes 23weeks. Shes been up half the night and is very unsettled. Its hard to decipher between catargh (sp?)and possible infection. Shes still smiling bless , but does seem a little grizzly.

I ask because a gp at the surgury a few years ago told me off for coming in with the baby to much (dd1) and although I was told he was wrong in saying that to me, I still always get really anxious and make sure its totally neccessary now .

take her in, if in any doubt, their airways are really small at that age, so dont take a chance and sod the gp

sorry no reply sooner , thank you for replies.

She seems to just have a bad cold due to teething , everything was clear but GP gave us some anti biotic cream as she has a swollen red little belly button !!

She sounds a lot worse than it is , I hope.
