Can alcoholism cause it?

Yes but also caused by poor dental hygiene, constipation, mouth infections, enlarged tonsils and so on.
Alcoholics frequently have halitosis as a result of self neglect.

Thanks. If it's alcoholism is it always self-neglect, or is it an imbalance of the system caused by the alcoholism?
