I had a stomach bug- diarrhea only (no vomiting) which started 8 days ago and is now better in the sense that I can eat plain foods without rushing to the loo an hour later. However I tried to eat a proper meal last night- chicken, noodles, vegetables and the diarrhea came back again (although only once). Until then I'd had pasta, rice, bananas, toast etc with no ill effects for 2-3 days.
Can anyone advise what to introduce to vary my diet and get some protein without causing the diarrhea to come back? I'm worried I'm not healing properly by just eating toast but don't want to set myself back either. And any suggestions on what to avoid would be helpful too. Thanks!
