Liz Earle Moisturisers? Your advice please!

For my combination skin. Oily patches with the tendency to dry on the forehead in cold weather

I have used liz Earle's stuff in the past and found the Normal/Combination Moisturiser quite heavy for my skin. I then switched to the Skin Repair light and found it just about right. This was in the Summer though.

I'm wondering which to go with as my skin's suffering with the cold weather.

Where are all the Liz fans?

Hmm - difficult one - you could try the Skin Repair Light with something extra on the dry bits - did you know you can also use the Smoothing Eye Serum as a moisturiser - you only need a tiny drop and it goes miles - is oil free, but still rich, iyswim. Or possibly the Superbalm Concentrate (just where you need extra help)?

(That post of mine is the post of someone who's watched altogether too much QVC - though not recently, it has to be said)

Have you used the Superbalm, Jackie?

Yes - it's lovely. Smells gorgeous, and isn't too oily (mostly plant oils, which aren't really oily in the usual sense of the word), though too much to wear in the daytime - use before bed. If you've got dry bits, you might need to exfoliate a bit gently too, to get rid of the dry flakes.

Exfoliate in addition to the muslins?

Either, I reckon - just go over a bit more thoroughly with the muslins, or use it as an excuse to buy some more Liz Earle products . I had a tester of the exfoliator with my last order, and it's very nice. But I haven't ordered more.

I wish, Ceolas. Sadly, I'm not though. I just spent my maternity leave watching too much QVC.
