This has sort of been covered before (just been checking some old threads) but I'm off to Thailand next week for a month with ds (18months)and I was hoping someone might have some good suggestions for sun tan lotion - brands etc as we've not taken him to anywhere hot before. He's blonde with really pale skin so I'm quite worried about the whole burning thing.... All suggestions hugely appreciated (and I've already bought a couple of UV bodysuits for him!). Thanks, Fluffymummy x

Hi there,

I used Soltan last year for mine - I think it was factor 40 but it had a 5* UVA protection too and it was suitable for sensitive skin.

(I searched every single one from every single shop - it was the highest UVA & UVB protecton combined) from Boots.

Have a lovely holiday

Brilliant...thanks! I've been half thinking about buying some Aussie stuff online but Soltan sounds like a great suggestion...and I can get to Boots here and in Thailand

Can especially recommend the apple-scented green kids' range from Soltan, though it may not be so good on sensitive skin as the plain stuff.

Thanks...I've gone for the Soltan Factor 50 kids stuff - will combine it with uv bodysuits and hats so hopefully will all be ok. Really appreciate your help! FM xx
