Sorry to be so descriptive but I'm really confused .
For at least a year, I've been getting this vile infection like taste at the back of my throat when I'm eating . It's a bit off putting !
I couldn't work out where it's coming from .
Anyway , I read on here about tonsil stones . I had a fish about in my throat with a cotton bud and couldn't see any tonsil stones .
I did swab my tonsils with the bud and the bud stinks !
. This has to be where the taste is coming from.
I don't have any current sore throat or sign of infection .
Also , when I prodded my tonsils - my throat produced a thick , hard to swallow stringy saliva . The type that gets "stuck" in your throat and is hard to swallow . Is this normal ?
My tonsils aren't huge.
Any ideas?
