I was 40 at the end of last year.
Periods have been lighter/longer/shorter/a mixture of all for at least a year.
This month period was due 14 days ago. I had all the usual build up (cramps, tiredness and mood swings) but it just never came.
I know I'm not pregnant as going through a dry spell with DH for a few reasons but did a test yesterday just to rule it out and it was negative.
I also spoke to my GP yesterday who said not to worry but if I miss is again this next month to go and see him.
40 feels too young to be starting with the menopause and my DM didn't go through it until she was in her late 40s.
I have been under some stress recently as DF has been diagnosed with liver cancer so it could be due to this I guess but am I right to be concerned? Last smear (18 months ago) was clear.
Just looking for advice I guess?
