I went for a scheduled gyni scan because of blood clots. The gyni looked at my scan and said I have fibroids. What happens now? I have to be booked in for a transvaginal scan so my consultant can see where the fibroid is and I am back at gyni in 4 months time. My consultant mentioned surgery or medication to treat them. I am only 24 and I have one son who is nearly 7. Me and my husband have attempted to conceive in the past 6 months but to no avail.
