My daughter doesn't live at home (grown up in twenties). She rang today to say that she had gone to bed last night fine. Woke in the night with terrible stomach pains and itching skin all over her body. She said there was a blotchy rash all over her legs arms and body and that she had to have a cool bath. The episode lasted for about two hours. She got back to sleep and has woken fine today. She's back at work
Any ideas on what this might have been? She spoke to a pharmacist who said it sounded like an allergic reaction to something. She does take an antihistamine every day at the moment as she suffers from hay fever.
