I got a serious smack to the face 10 days ago, it took about 15 mins for the pain to ease enough to get back to my feet and get my self together. I had a black eye for about a week. Across my eyebrow and just below was swollen for about a week
The bruising and swelling has mostly gone now, but it is still very painful to touch the area. I accidentally just pressed against the eye socket bone under my eyebrow and had to wait a few minutes for the pain to subside.
Does this sound like the bone may be fractures or chipped? And if it is, is there any point in seeking medical advice or is it just one of those things that will heal on its own with no issues?
