Gallstones?

Hi... Genuinely interested in some thoughts.

About 2 years ago, I'd get these vary infrequent pains, maybe 4 times a year. It felt like I had been shot. They kept getting worse. I get the pain around 3 times a week... It's a deep stabbing pain - where the bottom of the rib cage is, but in the centre. I have a great pain threshold, but it can make me cry. I struggle to breath and can faint, when these episodes happen...

I want to go to the doctor, but I lost a lot of weight, so I have some loose skin, which really bothers me Sad just wondering what it sounds like?

All I can say- go get checked. NOBODY can diagnose you like that- and it is very dangerous to ask! You need proper investigation. I personally don't think it is gallstones as liver and gallbladder are located more to the right than in the centre.

It could still be gallstones as pain gets referred to centre and also your back. Losing weight quickly is a cause of them too I'm afraid. But you need to go get checked. It's just a simple ultrasound. The doctor won't care about your skin honestly.

My gallstone pain was on my right hand side. But I agree, you should go and see a dr.

Am off for my ultrasound for this in the morning, having seen the Doc today.

No gallstones, but I do have a fatty liver, and had bloods done yesterday, and no signs of any issues with my liver function.

I get pain to the right and centre of my abdomen, feels like an almost burning sensation inside (but is not indigestion), and my ribs hurt as well. The pain travels up to my lower jaw. I thought I had the symptoms of a female heart attack, but not according to the doc.
