ds aged 9 months has three bottom teeth and one top tooth coming through but it isnt one of the middle ones, more towards the side to the right. Does this mean there is going to be a problem with the top middle teeth or is this normal

DD got top one to the side first. Didn't get first tooth until she was 13 months. Bottom middle two came through about 6th I think. They are through now but a little bent inwards - not enough room as two sides ones came in first and must have spread over a bit. Went to dental hospital about it before they came through and they said not to worry about it at all, and it isn't that uncommon.

I am just hopping the middles ones come out first so she doesn't get crooked middle teeth with the 2nd lot. We will see - may be the braces when she is older and on second set

trudles I see this a lot in practice. It's just a natural variation. Most unlikely there is a problem.

Both DS1 and 2 got the middle bottom 2 and then the outside top 2. Apart from looking like little vampires there were no problems

This is good to read (not your worries Trudles, but Jasper's opinion ) as dd currently has one centre top tooth, another one coming through to its left, one teeny toothlet starting to appear on the same side on the bottom, and NOTHING at all on the right side of her face. She doesn't even look like a cute little vampire, she just looks snaggle-toothed and weird. Good to hear this is not too unusual.

Snap Soupdragon! And there was me thinking my ds was the only vampire in the village...
