Huge abscess

Has anyone got any experience of an abscess on their fanjo?
I've currently got one the size of a plum, and it's bloody agony :-(
Saw the GP this morning, and I've got antibiotics, and she said it looked like it might come to a head soon.
What should I do if it bursts?

You have my sympathy. I thought I was growing a bollock last week!

I'm using mag sulph paste on mine. It's not come to a head, but it seems to be going.

If yours bursts, the sporners on here will expect you to take video and post it, but seriously, just mop up, keep it clean and you should be fine.

Hot salt bath?
