been a bug around recently where a few children i know including dd1 had temps for about 5 days. Eating literally next to nothing as well.

Not much anyone can do except ride it out, give paracetamol to bring down fever.

calpol and nurofen ..

temp is just a sign your body is fighting something

would only seek medical advice if

medicine / stripping doesn't bring it down (give it a good 30 mins)

associated with non-blanching rash

other symptoms that are concerning

oh also depends how high temp is ... I barely notice 38's but when its 39.8 and above I am more conscious of it

Calpol and nurofen should bring temperature down. These can both be taken together but take pharmacist advice before doing this - it depends what age she is. Also bathing her with tepid sponge or flannel. High temperature is a sign of something wrong and may or may not be serious but I personally would definitely seek GP advice if the above was not bringing temp down.
