Watery discharge - not pregnant

I've been having quite a lot of watery discharge over the last two weeks. A swab I had a few weeks ago has only just come back (or I've only just been told the results!) saying thrush. I've used a pessary, and it stopped for a few days, but now it's back. I' quite worried about it being Something Bad as I've got a colposcopy coming up - normal smears but I do have cervical ectropion. Any experiences of the same? Worrying myself silly.

No advice but I'm having the same plus spotting. Smear normal 18 months ago, doc has taken a selection of swabs and I get the results in a few days. I'm wondering if it's my IUD but your mind runs away with you doesn't it?

Have another swab- there are all sorts of things, BV, strep, staph etc, that aren't anything to do with smears or anything sinister but just need the right course of ABs or other treatment. Don't suffer!

A ectropion can cause excess discharge I have one and often have watery discharge. Always told that's the cause.

Thanks for getting back to me!

nomore - indeed, my mind has run a little wild lately as my colposcopy gets closer, hopefully the smears not showing anything up is a good thing.

nico thank you for that - I think it might be a good idea to get myself to a GUM clinic as they see all sorts don't they? It can't hurt I suppose.

notthinking that gives me hope!
