My sister plays lacrosse and after a tournament she started getting muscle spams on her left leg. We didnt go to doctor since she has always had a bad ankle. Its been three weeks and its getting better and she can walk on it but she still has pain. We went to walgreens health care and they told her it was a sprain, but she is worried she has cancer.. I dont know hoe reliable they can be since they didnt make an xray or anything it she wore a boot the first two weeks and she didnt complain at all, she stopped wearing it and she said it didnt hurt to walk but still got muscular lain on shin and low calf. Right now she is wearing the boot again and experiences little pain when in rest

But why would she think she had cancer? It doesn't make sense. Does she suffer from anxiety?

No she just looked up her symptoms and gets super scared of things like that

I don't know what sites your dsis has been visiting, but leg cramps and muscle pain is not uncommon after exercise www.nhs.uk/conditions/legcrampsunknowncause/pages/introduction.aspx and it could be that she needs to pay more attention to fully warming up before she plays lacrosse or engages in any other physical activity.
