Anaemia...causes?

I have pernicious anaemia which is managed through B12 injections, and also low thyroid managed with thyroxin. I have just been diagnosed with 'normal' low iron/hb anaemia and am starting iron tablets. Is there anything specific I should be looking at as a cause of this?

Diet. Various bowel disorders can affect absorption. Heavy periods? There are soooooo many different causes of anaemia. Most of them are nothing to worry about. Quite a few are listed on the NHS website. Hypothyroidism can also result in anaemia, though it's not listed there.

I hope the iron tablets help Flowers

Thyroid can (not sure but might affect digestion or just be a drain on e everything) and digestive issues eg coeliac but periods can be a big drain indeed.
