Ovary/hip pain post ovulation?

Hello, I get quite bad ovulation pain, which I had a week or so ago. It's now back with a vengeance (since yesterday) on both sides. Strangely I don't have sore boobs, which I usually do at this point in my cycle.

Is it likely to be cysts on both sides? Or just one of those things? Bloody hurts though.

I suspect I am wallowing somewhere in perimenopause land. Sob.

I think you should call for an appointment at your GP now!. I really don't wish to alarm you - but it isn't normal. If it's worse than a bit of discomfort , then you need to get it seen to.... I'm sure it's easily treated, but don't delay.. Best wishes...

Really? Oh shit. I probably won't be able to get an appointment until next week. I'm really hoping it's just one of those things and goes away with my period.

I get this,. I've put it down to perimenopause, or ovulating twice in a cycle. never even considered the doctor.

I get this every month and the dr's only suggestion is the pill which sends me crazy &him ttc. I've been checked for endometriosis (the usual cause for such pain) but was clear and have no cysts etc - if you do manage to find out I'd love to know what they say. I'm more likely to end up with a codeine addiction than ever find out thro my Gp/gynae

Flipping back has started twinging again, right into my bum as well, probably because I haven't been sitting properly due to the discomfort.

I have this too. I'm going for an ultrasound tomorrow. I have the pain on the left side. Sometimes I think it's my actual hip and other times I think it's my ovary area. It's mostly just some discomfort but the other day it was pretty painful. Nothing today though.
