Just back home from the hospital....

ds and I have just spent the night in hospital. About 11pm he woke up with a really croupy cough, a high temp and 2 black eyes....

While he was being checked out more rash (the pin-prick one) appeared over his face and ears. Doctors were a bit spooked by it all and admitted him for obs and blood tests. All came back clear thank goodness, but it was all a bit scary.

So now we are back home - he's curled up under the duvet watching a movie, still with a hacking cough and feeling miserable

Poor little tigger. Hope he gets better soon. It must have been quite a scare for you. Take care.

How scarey. Hope he bounces back quickly.

He's sleeping now and I've just had a kip myself, so feel a bit more human. Bless him, even from his hospital bed this morning he wanted to go to school and was really upset when I said he couldn't.

How is he now?

Still got a high temperature but responding to calpol/nurofen. Hopefully we'll all have a better night. I've never seen him so poorly as this before
