Mid cycle bleed and pain

I'm experiencing mid cycle bleeding, bright red! Been the docs, had an internal, swabs taken and full bloods! I'm terrified of what this could be? Never had this before! Anyone had anything similar or know what it could be?

How old are you? I've had the odd experience of this - it was just put down to some sort of hormonal blip. When I had it while on HRT people got worried, but again all was well and it was just some hormonal stuff going on. Good you're getting it checked out - did they give you an idea of how long before bloods/swab results are back?

I'm 37, have two boys 3 & 7 and gave never had anything like this beforehand!

I had this, it turned out to be a Endometriosis cyst. It eventually got too big and was removed. A year and a half later, the bleeding is back and so the cycle starts again.

It can have lots of different reasons though, good on you for having it checked out. If the swab and bloods come back clear you will probably be offered a scan.

I hope it is something like this? I'm going out of my mind with worry! Hope you get sorted x

Just wondering how you got on with doc? I have the same symptoms...plus am quite bloated and am worried. Bright red blood in loo this morning which freaked me out a bit plus pain which feels like a pulled muscle on my right side and some back pain. Came across this thread. Hope everything was OK?
