Dd1 has sore eyes and an on and off headache....any ideas ??

Complained yesterday when she came out of school of a head ache and sore eyes. Her eyes looked very slightly bloodshot but only mildly.

This morning she seemed ok except for that her eyes were still sore but this time not red at all, and she also had a bit of a headache.

I kept her off and she was fine all day, but is now complaining about her eyes and head again.

Any ideas anyone ? Any weird things going around that start like this ?

Has she ever had her eyes tested? Could it be eye-strain, or that she needs glasses (or a new prescription if she already wears them)?

She doesn't wear them no, and has never had them tested, will make an appointment for her asap.

She doesn't seem her normal self though which was why I wondered if it may be the start of a virus.

Oh well will soon see, but I will definatly get her sight checked too.

Just about to say possible eye strain but you're on it.

She'll have a right strop if she needs glasses.

I wear them so the 'all the coolest people wear glasses' approach won't cut it with her LOL.

Do any of the pop singers she likes wear glasses? Or does she like Harry Potter? There must be some cool people out there who wear specs!

Ohhh not sure, will check.

Can pop in to the opticians tommorow and make her an appointment.
