Can I get a second opinion?

Went to GP today. I don't think he listened to the reason/symptoms I was there for and I'm not happy with how things have been left.
(I had a recent miscarriage and he seemed only concerned with checking I had someone to talk to and checking I had contraception. Which were not the reasons I had gone to see him.)
Can I make another appointment to see a different doctor? (he is not my named GP, I haven't seen her in ages, you see whoever has free appointments) Would that be reasonable? Or should I wait a couple of weeks to see if things heal on their own as he suggests?

Thanks, that was sort of what I was thinking, but just wasn't sure if it was an acceptable thing to do.

Please go back I had the same experience in August and they were more concerned about checking that I wasn't depressed and giving me contraception. I am still waiting to see someone about the issues I raised as it took till Jan for them to realise it wasn't miscarrage/anxiety related which isn't great as your life is on hold especially if you want to ttc again as you want to be in the best health possible. Good luck x x x
