i dont knwo whhy he kjeeps getting thme. Always when he's alseep. Any explansaitons?

do they last very long and how old is he?

ds1 gets a lot (he's 7 now). I used to get them. Usually means there's a weakness of the membranes. I had my nose cauterised aged 5, we haven't had ds1 done because he's severely autistic, but apparently it's a very easy op these days (they do it with liquid nitrogen or something). Ds1 gets them when the central heating goes on and and when he has a cold. Vaseline can help stop one which won't stop!

If its accompanied by lots of bruising etc (elsewhere) then worth getting a blood test. Talk to your GP I give ds1 an iron supplement when he gets a spate of them.

ds1 gets them when he's asleep as well. Amy just be coincidence. If it's happening after cauterisation would be worth gong back to GP.

dd (4 ) gets this - wil wake up with blood pouring every night for a few nights then nothing for ages. worse when she has a cold. not helped by the fact one of her favourite sports is nose-picking!!dh is prone to nosebleeds too, maybe hereditary?

yep evil ds1 is the same- loads in a cluster then none for months. I dose up with iron a bit then.
