I'm having one fitted next thursday and I have been told "not to have sex till then" even with a condom.

Obviously this is to ensure I am not pregnant when it is fitted. Howver, does this mean ALL types of sexual activity are banned ?

I'm in a very new relationship and unless I just dont see him, it will be a struggle to resist some inducing activity!

(figgypud - I know you are lurking, please dont mention this to me in RL!!!! I cant be arsed to namechange!)

well, second attempt tomorrow.

BTW, are we all certain that if you had had sex against medical advice, that they couldn't tell??!!!!

Oh FFS, I'm 27 with 2 degrees - I'm almost certain they couldn't tell!

I just want sex without the morbid fear of getting pregnant before we decide the time is right.

Do you think, anyone who is interested!, that I should complain if the necessary equipment is still unavailable? The NICE guidelines state that a variety of speculum shoiuld be available...do I really want to make a fuss about my weirdy fanjo?

An FPC should have NO probs w/this.

My FPC has a GYN who does nothing on Tuesdays but fit these things.

Good luck!
