Cold all the time- thyroid?

Just that really I am cold all the time in the day. I work from home 2-3 days per week and I'm always in a vest, long sleeved top and cardy and DH is sat in a t-shirt. I always have loads of layers on and we've had to put the heating on today.

I was tested for thyroid last year as DM and DGM both have thyroid issues. Bloods came back as fine despite me having lost weight, being knackered. Dr said it was a just being mum of a 1yr old and working ft.
Know I need to go back to Drs for more bloods but if they come back clear any other thoughts on what it could be.

Ps I know it's blooming cold for April but I'm like this on warmer days too!

I would have further blood tests done, tests done over 6 months ago should be discounted.

What levels were tested last time; for example to test TSH solely is insufficient.

This is a useful website thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/index.html

Thanks Attila. I've got a phone consultation with my GP next week and will take it from there but sure they'll do bloods first.

There may be other vitamin deficiencies at play, or it could well be your thyroid. I have hashimotos which, in the early days, makes one hyperthyroid, then as time passes you get bursts of hypothyroidism. So you can be tested between these bursts at this stage and get 'normal' results. Then as it progresses, your hypo symptoms increase (feeling cold, tired, often putting on weight, among others) and so it's good to be retested as symptoms change.
