Anti-Depressants?

Anyone any experience of anti depressants. Always been hesitant and use St Johns Wort but poss need something else.

My friend has started taking them and they made her feel so sick. Also, do they always make u go for therapy too...

I was on sertraline. The leaflet listing the side affects petrified me that I put off taking then for a couple more weeks.
I never looked back after starting them. I was very fortunate to have none of the symptoms(apart from a little nausea which did not last long at all). And the benefits certainly were far greater.
I should have started them a lot sooner.
I didn't have any therapy although it was suggested.
