water in my ear!

It's been about a week following a shower. Don't normally get it.

Can hear/feel it in there and nothing is persuading it to come out. Any tips please?

Have you had a cold or virus at all recently as it could be a fluid build up in the middle ear, so behind the ear drum hence nothing is coming out.
It sounded like I had my head under water for about 6 weeks after being ill a while ago and thought it might be wax but doctor said the ear was completly clear and it was fluid due to the virus and would go over time as it was absorbed into the body.

Have you considered hopi ear candles - the heat and gentle vibration encourages the middle ear to drain (and it helps remove wax from the outer ear too). I swear by it.

Swim ear helped me. They sell it on amazon.
