Worried: 10 month old sick and not drinking bottle/ milk

My 10 month old has a husky voice, a fluctuating temp which hit 101- he's eating food, but doesn't want his bottle or milk at all. Yesterday he had about 8fl oz of juice from a cup but that was pretty forced. I think he could be teething or even a cold but am worried that he's not getting enough fluid. Should I take him to the doctor yet, or see how he goes for his second day?

See how he goes today and offer other fluids such as water instead. Wouldn't necessarily worry about the lack of milk yet. If he is eating can you get him to eat watery foods such as melon or yoghurt. Teething wouldn't normally cause a temperature like that in itself but any sort of virus affecting ears, throat and airpassages might. When you say he is husky is his cry wheezy or rasping as that might indicate a more of a bronchial problem.

Hope he improves today

If he's teething try Ashton and Persons homeopathic powders. THey're the best thing since sliced bread. Wouldn't be without them or try making some fruit juice lollys. Help the teething and gets fluid into him! My ds won't touch milk with a barge pole but he'll eat mini milk lollies till the cows come home!!!!!
