So much pain

I've got comorbid diagnoses of Borderline Personality Disorder and depression. Usually manifests as anxiety and depression. I also have arthritis thrown in.
I'm on 60mg fluoxetine and 20mg of amitryptaline.
Been off work (annual leave) for a week, today was meant to be my first day back but I had a migraine type headache yesterday and woke up with it again today. Overnight I also had a fever (was boiling but felt very cold and shivery).
My joints are really really hurting, neither resting or moving helps. When I asked the doctor about this before she said it was due to depression (did bloods, all normal).
I must go back to work tomorrow even if I can't drive etc.
Is it worth going back to the doctor?
Do you think it's linked with the anxiety?
Is it worth begging/borrowing/stealing a tens machine?
Anything I can do? I can barely eat with the pain.

Also have lovely big hives all over my wrist. So big a bee could actually fit in them

So I'm now snotty, still in pain and so so tired.
Would you go to the doctors or let it run its course?

Another throat infection... Yay.
And possibly viral infection too.

It's very telling when the doctor comments that you're ill, yet again, and that 's the only time she sees your DP... Blush

I think I may be quite dehydrated.
I can't drink pop and feel faint when I stand for long.
Anyone have any tips?

Sorry to keep bumping this but I'm really crap at being "poorly"...
I keep waking up absolutely drenched in sweat no matter what I do.
Using a summer weight quilt always. Tried sleeping naked, in a nightie, PJs. Tried sleeping with just my dressing gown and no quilt in bed and on the sofa. Still soaked.
Any ideas?

Paracetamol will help with a fever, but you may just have to ride it out for the time being. It is shit, I'm sorry.

Hope you managed to get a little sleep at least and start feeling a bit better today. Take it easy (read a book or watch tv) and drink plenty of fluids (water, diluted juice rather than tea and coffee).

Take care

JustAnotherYellowBelly · 02/04/2016 13:12

It is shit. But thank you Smile

alidoll TV is good, I've watched a whole series on Netflix and I could tell you about half of what happened lol

Just phoned work to officially call in sick. Line manager isn't there today. Spoke to the lady who is covering me and my boss told her I have a sore throat... Yep. Totally. Coz I have 2 days off for a sore throat....
