Period - regular flow but a few clots

I always have a regular period, normal flow, for a while. I always get a few clots but not thing major, (although I'm always paranoid about endo). This period, flow has been less, but few more clots. Should I be worried?

The clots are endometrial tissue, and entirely normal. Endometriosis doesn't bear relation to the amount of clots in your menstrual blood. Endo is tissue that is growing elsewhere than your womb, so it wouldn't present in your menstrual flow anyway.

I always heard that heavy flow with lots of clots could be a sign of endo so I was worried (even tho this is light). I did have moderate cramps at ovulation and during first day or two of flow too.

No, the main indicator of endo is extreme pain. As endo is elsewhere than the womb it wouldn't make sense that clots in flow = endo.

As the PP has said, endo is not going to result in clots, in fact the opposite! Endo is endometrial tissue that is in other places- eg bowel, outside of the uterus etc. It can't bleed - ie exit- so when it breaks down during a period the result is extreme pain . You either have or haven't got endo- I don't think it's something that just 'develops' as years go by.

Clots are normal- they show your blood clotting function works. Clots if you use towels are often when the blood has pooled in the vagina and then comes out as a clot. It's also as PP says, tissue.
